For off-grid cabins

Give the fixed array a forecast that changes with the sky.

SunPlanner estimates how much solar a stationary off-grid cabin or home setup may produce today and across 16 days. The panels may stay put, but weather and seasonal solar conditions still change the power available for everyday loads.

Life beyond the hookup

A fixed system still has changing days.

01A long cloudy stretch can change when the cabin can comfortably carry flexible loads.

02Seasonal solar conditions change even when panel direction and tilt stay fixed.

03Logged production can teach SunPlanner how this cabin setup behaves without pretending to watch the equipment live.

Before the weather turns

See the stronger and weaker days before they reach the cabin.

Compare daily solar estimates across 16 days for the cabin's location and configured array. Each day has its own expected range and confidence, so you can move flexible loads away from a weaker stretch when the forecast gives you time.

The 16-day Outlook makes stronger and weaker forecast days easier to compare.

At the fixed array

Set the panel direction you actually use.

Choose the cabin location and configure the array's direction and tilt. SunPlanner uses the selected setup with weather forecasts and solar-resource data to estimate daily production.

On the Dashboard

Keep today's estimate and uncertainty together.

The Dashboard brings today's energy estimate, expected range, confidence, and PowerBar into one view. That gives you a planning window before running a flexible load or deciding what can wait.

Across real cabin days

Build calibration from the production you log.

Log the final kWh the cabin system produced. After three usable readings, SunPlanner starts applying what it has learned to future forecasts. The calibration profile keeps building toward 25 usable readings.

Forecast

A planning estimate, not live equipment data

SunPlanner does not read the inverter, battery, charge controller, or utility meter. Daily energy, the expected range, confidence, and PowerBar are forecasts.

Obstructions

The site still needs your judgment

Sun Finder can show sun geometry and panel direction. It does not calculate the cabin's tree height, terrain shadows, roof obstructions, or site shading.

Battery

Storage is a separate planning decision

Battery capacity can shape which loads the cabin carries and for how long. It does not change the solar-production estimate.

Built for off-grid decisions

Plan the cabin's flexible loads around the days ahead.

Configure the fixed array, compare the outlook, and use logged production to build a forecast for the system you rely on.
