For RV boondocking

Plan the RV's solar before the hookup disappears.

SunPlanner estimates how much solar an RV setup may produce today and across 16 days. It is built for boondocking and dry camping, when shore power is absent and flexible loads, travel, and generator decisions need to fit the weather ahead.

Life beyond the hookup

Off a hookup, the timing of the load matters.

01A campsite can look open on a map and still have trees, terrain, or another obstruction near the panels.

02Several weak solar days can change when you charge gear, cook, cool the RV, or prepare the generator.

03Moving changes the location and weather inputs. Logged production teaches SunPlanner how the same RV setup behaves.

Before the next camp

Compare the solar outlook before you settle in.

Check daily estimates across 16 days for the rig and location you select. Each day has its own expected range and confidence, which helps you spot stronger and weaker parts of the trip before you commit to a long stay.

Before a flexible load

Read the weather details behind today's decision.

Cloud cover, temperature, rain, UV, and humidity help explain the conditions around the solar estimate. Use them as planning context before charging gear, cooking, cooling the RV, or deciding whether the generator needs to be ready.

Before you park

Check the sun path for the campsite you are considering.

Search a place, choose the exact result, and compare the sun path with your panel direction for the date you plan to be there. You still judge nearby trees, terrain, buildings, and other obstructions yourself.

After real days on the road

Let logged production teach the forecast about this RV setup.

Log the final kWh the system produced. After three usable readings, SunPlanner starts applying what it has learned to future forecasts. The calibration profile keeps building toward 25 usable readings.

Forecast

A planning estimate

Daily energy, the expected range, confidence, and the PowerBar are forecasts. They are not live readings from the inverter, battery, charge controller, or utility meter.

Sun Finder

Sun geometry you check against the campsite

Sun Finder shows the sun path and panel direction. It does not calculate tree height, terrain shadows, or obstruction shading for you.

Moving

A new campsite changes the forecast inputs

Changing the selected location updates weather and solar conditions. Calibration changes from usable production readings, not from travel alone.

Built for off-grid decisions

Plan the next dry-camping stretch before you pull in.

Configure the RV setup you use, check the days ahead, and compare the sun at the campsite you are considering.
